Sean Wiles signs with Royals

READING, Pa. - The Reading Royals have signed their first player for the coming season. Forward Sean Wiles has agreed to terms with the team.

Wiles finished last season with a career high 45 points, and his 19 goals landed him tied for second on the team. He led the Royals in playoff scoring as well.

The Royals have also extended qualifying offers to the following players:

- Mike Banwell

- Brandon Blandina

- Nick Bruneteau

- Matt Campanale

- Louie Caporusso

- Julien Cayer

- Ethan Cox

- Ian O'Connor

Players who had already signed a contract by June 30 did not need to receive a qualifying offer. Each team was entitled to reserve the rights to a maximum of eight qualified players. Of the eight qualified players, no more than four could be veterans (260 regular season professional hockey games played as of the start of the upcoming 2014-15 season). Players on open qualifying offers cannot be traded.
