Royals struggles continue in 4-1 loss to Florida

Royals woes continue with 4-1 loss to Everblades

READING - The Reading Royals fell at home on Friday night, 4-1, to the Florida Everblades. The Royals have struggled so far in December, going 0-3.

Dustin Gazley tied the game up at 1 in the second period, but Florida rattled off three unanswered goals down the stretch to seal the win.

Goaltender Riley Gill was loaned to Reading from Hershey before the game, but even his presence didn't help. Head coach Larry Courville has had to deal with difficult roster circumstances over the last few weeks. Whether it's been injuries, recalls or loans, the Royals haven't been able to produce a consistent lineup. Those results are starting to show.

Reading will be back at it on Saturday night when Elmira comes to the Santander Arena.
