Royer's Flowers working to 'stem' hunger in Berks

SHILLINGTON, Pa. - Royer's Flowers is once again collecting non-perishable food items as part of the "Royer's Stems Hunger" food drive.

Between now and June 28, customers will get a free carnation for every food item they donate at Royer's.

There's a limit of six carnations per family, per visit.

The food will be given to the Greater Berks Food Bank and the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.

Royer's has collected more than 5,000 pounds of food during the first three years of the food drive.
