Serial bank robber pleads guilty to more robberies

A man from Boyertown has pleaded guilty to a string of bank robberies, including some he wasn't even charged with.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Marcus Ricketts has pleaded guilty to the four robberies he was charged with and to seven others.

Officials say six of those robberies were still pending investigation.

Authorities say Ricketts held up the Sovereign Bank on East High Street in Pottstown, Montgomery County, in June 2010.

They also say he's admitted to robbing banks in Berks, Lehigh, Chester, Bucks and Delaware counties.

Sentencing is set for September.
