Charges dropped against David Butryn

READING, Pa. - Charges have been dropped against a former corrections officer at Berks County Jail who was accused of sexual assault.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for David Butryn Tuesday morning.

He was accused of having sexual contact with an inmate sometime between December of 2010 and January of 2011.

But the case was dismissed because the complaining witness never showed up.

Police said she later called prosecutors to say she didn't want to testify.
