Spring-Ford becoming dominant program

Spring-Ford building on recent success

ROYERSFORD - The Spring-Ford football team has risen to prominence over the last few years. In fact, the Rams expect to be one of the most dominant teams in District I this season.

Spring-Ford made a run to the District I championship game in 2012, falling to eventual state finalist Coatesville. The Rams would love to return to the District title game, getting another shot at the Red Raiders in the process.

The Rams return standout tailback Jarred Jones and versatile playmaker Tate Carter. But Spring-Ford, has yet to find the quarterback consistency they need to get the ball to those playmakers.

Spring-Ford will visit Whitehall to open the season on Friday night.
