State police take over search for Ashley Kline, missing Robesonia woman

State police take over search for missing Berks woman

ROBESONIA, Pa. - State police are asking for your help to find a missing woman from Robesonia. Ashley Kline, 23, went missing more than a week ago.

"I am nervous because she is normally not gone this long. It is not like her," said Kline's brother, David Kline.

Kline went missing Dec. 30 from the 100 block of Robeson Street in Robesonia. After she left her home, the trail goes cold, and police have no idea where she may have gone.

"We have people out following up all kinds of leads, loose ends, doing investigative stuff," said Tpr. David Beohm, Pa. State Police.

Kline's family members are very concerned because they said her mental capability is that of a 15-year-old after she suffered from lead poisoning as a child. Now, they are holding out hope that state police can bring her home.

"Awful. We hope that there is no foul play. We have a lot of faith in the police, in their investigation. We feel that they will come up with answers," said Ashley's aunt, Penny Monteleone.

Police are asking for your help.

"Sometimes in an investigation, something that you may think is insignificant may be a piece to the puzzle that maybe helps solve what is going on. If you know anything, please give us a call," said Beohm.

Kline is a white woman with brown hair and hazel eyes. She stands 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt with pink letters, pajama pants and a black puffy jacket with black boots.
