Taylor Swift's childhood home in Wyomissing may have new owner

WYOMISSING, Pa. - Taylor Swift's childhood home in Berks County may have a new owner.

The home in the unit block of Grandview Boulevard in Wyomissing was on the market for $799,500 before a tentative deal for sale was reached Wednesday.

The seller's real estate agent declined to reveal the purchase price.

The 5,050 square-foot home, built in 1929, features six bedrooms and 3-1/2 bathrooms, along with the study where Swift played her guitar as a child.

Swift's parents rented the home for 10 years before the family moved to Nashville when Swift was 14 so she could pursue her career in country music.
