Templin, Wilson WL confident heading into District opener

Templin, Bulldogs host Manheim Twp. in District opener

SPRING TOWNSHIP - Wilson West Lawn enters the District III-AAAA tournament as the top seed for the second straight year. The Bulldogs will host league-rival Manheim Township on Friday. Once again, Jake Templin will likely be called upon to start for the Bulldogs at quarterback.

Starter Matt Timochenko has been sidelined since last week with mono. But Templin stepped in for the season finale against Warwick, and helped the Bulldogs polish off their 11th undefeated season in program history.

Doug Dahms was pleased with Templin's performance, but says that he would like to see better passing efficiency from the junior.

Templin himself said that he'd like to get the offense out of the gates quicker and put some points on the board right away.

The Blue Streaks visit John Gurski Stadium at 7:00 on Friday.
