Terry Bradshaw to keynote Greater Reading chamber's dinner

Event set for May 31 at Santander Arena

READING, Pa. - One of the Pittsburgh Steelers' most legendary players is preparing to step foot in Philadelphia Eagles country.

The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) announced Wednesday that four-time Super Bowl champion quarterback and NFL broadcaster Terry Bradshaw will serve as the keynote speaker for its annual dinner in May.

"While local sports fans know him as a Steelers legend, Terry Bradshaw's career continues to defy an easy category," said Randy Peers, the chamber's president and CEO.

In addition to being known for what he's done on the football field and in the broadcast booth, Bradshaw in an actor, best-selling author, and motivational speaker. He will share with chamber members his strategies for maintaining success through persistent self-improvement and will challenge them to consider: 'Why not your best?'

"His drive, dedication, and success are typified not just by his long list of wins and awards on and off the field, but by his drive, dedication, and leadership — qualities the business community knows are important to success in any field," Peers said.

The dinner will take place on May 31 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Santander Arena in downtown Reading. Tickets are available on the chamber's website.
