TobyMac to bring 'Hits Deep Tour' to Sovereign Center in Reading

READING, Pa. - Six-time Grammy Award-winning artist TobyMac is reprising his successful "Hits Deep Tour," and he's including Reading on this year's 20-city run.

The multi-artist tour, featuring a number of special guests, will play at the Sovereign Center on Dec. 5.

"This tour is going to be exactly what most people want to see when they go to a concert – a show where you know every song," said TobyMac. "Big hits that hit deep! Not just hits because they are sonically a good listen, but because they've spoken deeply to our souls."

The tour will feature a slightly new multi-artist lineup, showcasing some of the best-loved songs performed by TobyMac and some of the biggest and brightest artists in Christian music, including Brandon Heath, Mandisa, Jamie Grace, Colton Dixon and Chris August.

"These artists are all headliners in their own right, but we've come together to serve up the hits that have become a part of people's lives," said TobyMac.

The tour's announcement comes on the heels of TobyMac winning his sixth Grammy Award, the Billboard Music Awards for top Christian artist and album, and his first American Music Award for favorite artist in the contemporary/inspirational category.

TobyMac's most recent project, EYE ON IT, earned him the highest chart debut of his solo career, topping the Billboard Top 200 and the iTunes overall and Christian sales charts.
