Trial begins for man charged in deadly attack near Pagoda

Police say Donavin Yenser was beaten to death

READING, Pa. - The trial for one of four men charged in a deadly attack near the Pagoda in Reading is now underway.

Kyle Adams is charged with murder in the death of Donavin Yenser, who died after he was found beaten and bloody near the landmark atop Mount Penn in 2016.

Attorneys, who presented their opening statements on Monday, said Adams' trial is expected to last all week.

Another defendant, Paul Cook Jr., is also charged with murder. The other two defendants, Joseph White and Skylar Kerns, are charged with aggravated assault.
