Tulpehocken boys eye return to high level

Trojans endured transitional season in 2013

Tulpehocken more experienced this season

NEW SCHAEFFERSTOWN, Pa. - The Tulpehocken boys soccer team says it is more experienced in 2014, which should help the Trojans get back to their place among the elite teams in Berks County.

Tulpehocken (4-5-1, 6-10-1 in 2013) failed to qualify for the postseason at any level last year. But the Trojans were a very young team, made up mostly of sophomores and freshmen.

The Trojans say those young players are now ready to consistently face varsity-level competition. That has the veterans still remaining excited about the prospects of the coming campaign.
