Tulpehocken scores early, holds off Wyomissing

WYOMISSING - The Tulpehocken girls soccer team defeated Wyomissing, 3-2, on Monday at Flannery Field to take over first-place atop Berks III.

The Trojans (5-0, 11-0) scored all three goals in the first half. Myriah Troutman netted a pair and Kailee Ziegler scored the other.

The Spartans (4-1, 8-1-1) made it interesting late in the second half. Cassidy Kuhn and Emily Stump scored to bring Wyo within one, but Tulpy held on for the victory.

The victory leaves Tulpehocken in sole possession of first place atop Berks III.
