Twin Valley field hockey seeks third straight county title

Raiders are early Berks favorite once again

Twin Valley eyes third straight BCIAA field hockey title

ELVERSON, Pa. - The Twin Valley (10-0, 24-3 in 2013) field hockey team is considered the early favorite in Berks County once again. The Raiders have won back-to-back BCIAA championships and look to win a third straight this season behind Ashley Hoffman.

Hoffman is one of three U.S. Junior Women's National selections on the Twin Valley team this year. The other two are Kelee Lepage and Hannah Menge.

With other seniors back to help lead the way like Emily Webster and Sam Schlegel, the Raiders are once again poised to have a big season.

However, the goal does not end in counties for this group. The team wants to go deeper at the district and state level.

Twin Valley gets a great early test on the 29th. The Raiders host Lower Dauphin, a team that has been their nemesis over the last two years.
