Two alarm fire in Cumru Township

CUMRU TWP., Pa. - A fire in Cumru Township destroyed a garage and its contents Monday night.

The flames broke out at 285 Wyomissing Ave. shortly after  9 p.m.

A resident called 911 after hearing a loud explosion and seeing smoke coming from the woods.

When firefighters arrived, the private garage was fully engulfed in flames. They said at least two vehicles were inside.

No one was injured, but the garage was a total loss.
