Victim in shooting at diner dies

WEST READING, Pa. - Officials in Berks County said the victim of a shooting one week ago at the West Reading Diner has died from his injuries.

The coroner's office said Julio Torres died from injuries he sustained after being shot in the head at the diner on March 24 around 3:30 a.m.

Officials said an autopsy on Torres to determine the cause of death will be completed Sunday evening, but that the death has been ruled a homicide.

Police continue to investigate.
