Volunteers assemble hundreds of Thanksgiving care packages

READING, Pa. - Met-Ed employees are helping the Salvation Army make sure more than 1,000 families in Berks County have a happy Thanksgiving.

The employees helped assemble hundreds of Thanksgiving care packages that will be distributed to folks in need this holiday season.

The bags were filled with things like non-perishable food and coffee.
