Weiser and Wyo girls, Fleetwood boys win District openers

Scouts, Spartans and Tigers earn District wins

BERKS COUNTY - The Conrad Weiser and Wyomissing girls soccer teams won their District III openers on Monday night. The Fleetwood boys were victorious as well.

In Robesonia, sisters Hannah and Kristin Racis combined for 4 goals and Kennedy Lutz added another as the Scouts routed West Perry, 5-1, in a PIAA District III first-round game.

Hannah Racis recorded a hat trick, scoring two goals in the first half along with one from Lutz.

Her third came in the second half followed up by Kristin's goal off a corner-kick.

Conrad Weiser advanced to the quarterfinal round where they will meet Wyomissing.

The Spartans handled York Suburban, 3-0, to advance out of their first-round game.

Shea and Mia Moyer tallied goals for Wyomissing along with Emily Stump.

On the boys side, Fleetwood blanked York Suburban on Monday night, 2-0, to earn a spot in the District III quarterfinals.

Mitch Kinek recorded both goals for the Tigers in the second half.

Fleetwood advances to meet Oley Valley in the quarterfinals.
