Landis family reacts to verdict

READING, Pa. - A jury has found a Berks County man accused of killing his wife guilty of first degree murder

Jury deliberations began Friday afternoon in the trial of Williams Landis.

Landis is accused of killing his wife, then causing a standoff with police.

Friday's session began with attorneys presenting closing arguments in the trial.

Police say Landis shot and killed his wife Sharon inside their Spring Township home in October 2009.

They say Landis then fired at officers who responded to the home.. causing a six-hour standoff.

He's facing a separate trial for the standoff charges.
