Wilson, Exeter boys excited for Berks I showdown

BERKS COUNTY - Wilson and Exeter. Two teams that faced different preseason expectations. The Bulldogs were a favorite from the beginning and are playing like it with a 10-0 record.

The Eagles, on the other hand, are flying higher than anyone expected.

These two will meet Wednesday night in Spring Township with first place in Berks I up for grabs. The game has been moved to Wednesday due to Tuesday's weather.

This rivalry has grown over the last few years, with all three contests last season getting heated both on and off the court.

The Bulldogs certainly remember what happened in their first meeting with Exeter last year.  The loss didn't sit well with Wilson and the team says its far more focused this time around.

The Eagles have also been dialed in over the last few days in preparation for this game.

Exeter has run out of the gates at 7-2, a perfect 2-0 in league play.

Before the season started, it didn't look like the young Eagles would have this much early success.

But the team can play, and they plan to show that tomorrow against their division rivals.
