Wilson WL boys hold off Exeter in first place showdown

Wilson WL tops Exeter, claims first place atop Berks I

SPRING TWP. - The Wilson West Lawn boys (3-0, 11-0) took a late lead and held on for a 43-40 victory over Exeter (2-1, 7-3) on Wednesday night. The win gives the Bulldogs sole possession of first place atop Berks I.

Exeter took the lead in the third quarter, but Wilson roared back in the fourth, outscoring the Eagles 15-6.

Wilson's Travaun Coad led all scorers with 23 points. Jaylin Calloway added another 10 for the Bulldogs.

Daniel Garcia Jr. paced the Eagles with 15 points.

Wilson WL visits Governor Mifflin on Thursday. Exeter also returns to action Thursday, hosting Muhlenberg.
