Wilson WL downs Boone for second place in Berks I

Wilson WL handles Daniel Boone in Berks I showdown

WEST LAWN, Pa. - When it rains steadily pretty much all day, you hope, if you're in sports, for a good indoor game. And we had just that on the volleyball court Tuesday tonight. Daniel Boone (7-2) and Wilson (6-3) went head-to-head Tuesday night with the winner to move into sole possession of second place in Berks I. Both teams are chasing unbeaten Exeter in the standings.

The Blazers took the first game 25-22 to grab the early momentum. But Wilson really stepped it up from there.

Tiki Miller sent a monster kill down the line in the second set as the Bulldogs won it 25-23.

The Bulldogs had an easier time of it in the third, tallying a 25-18 win behind Katie Rudy.

Jessie Wallace put the match away in the fourth game with a monster kill, 25-23.

With the win, Wilson West Lawn now controls second place in Berks I.
