Wilson WL wins 3rd straight Berks I title

SPRING TOWNSHIP - The Wilson West Lawn (7-0, 12-3) wrestling team won its third consecutive Berks I wrestling championship on Thursday night with a 43-23 victory over Exeter (6-1, 15-2).

Mike Hafer, Parker Eidle and Jake Yancey all tallied pins in the final bouts to seal it for Wilson. Connor Moyer defeated Tristan Watts in two overtimes which swung the bout in Wilson's favor.

Wilson will enter the county tournament as the top seed out of Berks I. The Eagles will be the two seed.

Earlier in the evening, the Bulldogs handled Conrad Weiser 74-6 while Exeter took care of Twin Valley 39-20.
