Wyomissing boys eye deep playoff run this year

Spartans return motivated to win titles

Wyomissing boys look to go deep in playoffs

WYOMISSING, Pa. - Even with the loss of leading scorer Andrew Miller, the Wyomissing boys soccer team is considered one of the early favorites in Berks County.

Wyomissing (8-1-1, 15-5-1 in 2013) returns a talented senior class this season. The Spartans managed a goal differential of plus-50 last year, second only to Fleetwood.

Its a foundation the Spartans feel they can build on as they eye a deeper postseason run. Wyo suffered early losses in both the county and district tournaments last year.
