Wyomissing loaded with young talent

WYOMISSING - The Wyomissing girls soccer team is one of the favorites in Berks County this year, in large part due to its depth of young talent.

The Spartans lost three seniors from last year's team. That squad, under first-year head coach Keegan Moyer, made a magical run through the District III tournament and eventually reached the state tournament.

This year's team will feature a majority of freshmen and sophomores. Some of the current sophomores started as freshmen last year, making that playoff run even more important from an experience standpoint.

Wyomissing should challenge Tulpehocken for the Berks III crown.
