Wyomissing looks to make history in state championship game

Wyomissing one win away from state championship

WYOMISSING, Pa. - There are only eight football teams in the state that are still on the field working out.  Wyomissing is one of the eight, and on Saturday the Spartans will try to become one of four state champions.

Wyo will square off with Aliquippa at Hersheypark Stadium at noon Saturday in the PIAA 2-A state final.

Should the Spartans win, they would capture the first football state title in both school and Berks County history.

Dan Moscaritolo has more on the Spartans as they prepare.
