Wyomissing's Alex Anzalone in national spotlight Friday night

Anzalone excited for Under Armour All-American Game

WYOMISSING, Pa. - Wyomissing's Alex Anzalone has one final game to play before he heads to South Bend and puts on a Notre Dame uniform.

Pennsylvania's 2-A Player of the Year will suit up in the Under Armour All-American Game Friday night in St. Petersburg, Florida to compete against some of the top high-school players in the country.

Anzalone led the Spartans to the first football state championship in Berks County history last season.

Anzalone rushed for more than 1400 yards and scored 30 touchdowns en route to the title. On defense, he racked up more than 100 tackles.
