Becahi settles for silver in PIAA state championship

The Bethlehem Catholic girls had to settle for silver in the PIAA 3A state championship game Saturday night.

The Golden Hawks fell behind early and could never catch up in a 53-38 loss to South Park at the Giant Center in Hershey.

Sophomore Kalista Walters, who reached the 1,000-point milestone in the semifinal round, scored a game-high 22 points.

Shelby Lindsay had 20 to lead South Park.

Becahi finishes the season at 28-3 overall.
