Bethlehem Police ask for help in case of attempted child luring

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Bethlehem Police are asking for your help to find the man who attempted to lure a child while the child was walking to school Tuesday morning.

Around 9 a.m., a student was walking in the 1200 block of East Third Street when a man, possibly Hispanic, tried to get the child into a dark green pickup truck.

The male is described as having a medium complexion, clean shaven, in his 40's-50's, short haircut, with acne and acne scaring on his forehead, a crooked nose and a Spanish accent.  

The pickup truck was described as being smaller in size.  The child described the pickup truck as being in good shape with no observable damage. 

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the Bethlehem Police Department at 610.865.7187 and leave information for Officer Fehr.
