Bisons sweep IronPigs at Coca-Cola Park

IronPigs host Bisons in double-header

The Buffalo Bisons swept a double-header from the IronPigs on Saturday night at Coca-Cola Park.

Buffalo cruised to an 8-4 win in game one, before coming from behind for a 2-1 win in game two.

The 'Pigs fell behind 8-1 in game one, before threatening in the 7th inning.  But they left the bases loaded to end the game.

The loss marked Ethan Martin's first loss as a member of the Phillies organization.

Martin (1-1, 8.10) had gone 5-0 in Reading last year after coming over from the Dodgers in the Shane Victorino trade.

In game two, a Cesar Hernandez RBI single gave the IronPigs a 1-0 lead through the first five innings.

But Buffalo got an unearned run in the 6th, then a two-out, game-winning single from Luis Jimenez in the 7th.

The 'Pigs stranded the tying and winning runs on second and third base in the bottom of the 7th.

The IronPigs (7-8) will host the Bisons again on Sunday at 1:35pm.  Buffalo has won six in a row.
