Blake Bills sentenced for Macungie burglary

Man also faces sentencing next month for police chase through Philadelphia

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A Lehigh County man who pleaded guilty to leading Philadelphia police on a wild car chase is headed to jail for a different case.

Blake Bills, 25, of Macungie, pleaded guilty in September for a burglary in Macungie that took place in August 2012.

On Thursday, Bills was sentenced to 14 months to five years in state prison on the burglary charge.

On Oct. 3, Bills pleaded guilty to charges of fleeing police, driving under the influence, recklessly endangering another person, and criminal mischief relating to the chase in a stolen police car through Philadelphia in March.

Sentencing on those charges is set for November 18.
