ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

When the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society was founded in 1949, a blood cancer diagnosis was almost always fatal.

Now, thanks in part to innovative research funded by LLS, survival rates have doubled, tripled, and even quadrupled for blood cancer patients.

Many life-saving measures are happening right in our own backyard.

Pamela Formica and Kate Kline from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society stopped by 69 News at Sunrise to give us a progress report and to explain how you can help.
