Bloomsbury School Board president resigns

A tale of two schools has taken its toll on a Hunterdon County school official.

Bloomsbury School Board President Karyn Frey has resigned.

Frey says it's because she wants to keep Bloomsbury kids at Phillipsburg High School but other school board members want them to attend Delaware Valley Regional High School in nearby Alexandria Township.

Meantime Frey says the school board violated New Jersey's open public meetings act last month when four other board members toured Del Val and didn't advertise it.

The Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office has yet to return our calls.
