wendy davis: >>>dan moscaritolo:pac rivals boyertown and spring-ford went at it on the soccer field tonight. both games, pretty important. starting with the boys, boyertown, the first team out of the district i field as of the last rankings......a win over the conference-leading rams, and there's a good chance they make the district field...1st half...boyertown's jimmy towers passes to alex kidwell for the goal...bears up 1-0 later in the 1st...spring-ford's ronnie minges passes to chase parr for the long goal off the crossbar...rams tie the game at 1-1 early in the the nice touch...boyertown's kidwell knocks in his second goal of the game....bears take the lead...they'd add boyertown wins they had to have... for the girls, boyertown, trying to edge out owen j. roberts 2nd place and a spot in the conference tournament...spring-ford, leading the division...- early 1st half. spring-ford's ally o'connor gets the shot off, but its punched over the bar by boyertown's ashley petitjean. no score at half.- 2nd half. boyertown's lauren haley puts one on goal, but that is knocked away by amanda byrd to keep the bears off the 0-0 draw
