Lady Bullets, Mustangs pick up key league wins

Brandywine Heights rolled to a 12-2 win over Kutztown in one of the top softball rivalries in Berks County. Governor Mifflin topped Exeter 6-1 in a Berks I baseball meeting in Shillington on Wednesday.

The Bullets got a grand slam from Nora Harrison that ended the game and kept Brandywine undefeated on the season. Harrison drove in 5 runs on the day.

The Bullets have sole possession of Berks III after sweeping the season series with Kutztown.

On the baseball field, Governor Mifflin picked up their 3rd league win of the year on a big day from Tanner DeLucia. He drove in 3 runs and recorded the win on the mound to lead the Mustangs. Berks I is a crowded division and looks wide open at this point.
