QUAKERTOWN, Pa. -

Community members in Bucks County gave a hero's welcome home Wednesday to a soldier returning from active duty in the Middle East.

Tim Horner received a special escort from local fire and police personnel that started from the Route 309 truck stop in Coopersburg and ended at the Quakertown Farmers' Market.

"We're doing a welcoming home for him today to thank him for his services he provided to the country for us," said Doug Wilhelmof the Quakertown Fire Department Chief.

Horner is a long-time member of the Quakertown Fire Department.
