Minivan bursts into flames

UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. - A fire that destroyed a minivan forced emergency crews to temporarily shut down a stretch of I-78 West in Lehigh County Sunday afternoon.

The minivan caught on fire around 12 p.m. in Upper Saucon Township near the Oakhurst Drive exit.

Crews at the scene say no one was injured. We're being told several people who were traveling in the minivan all got out safely.

There's no word yet on what sparked the fire.

As of 12:45 p.m. Sunday, westbound traffic was backed up for several miles.
