WFMZ's Bo Koltnow is there live now with the details. >> Eve, police say the constables were here to serve a warrant, but that turned into a shooting. You can see the car behind me where the victim's girlfriend says he was shot while trying to drive to dunkin donuts for breakfast. >> hefeezah muhammed 2:03:40-48 For someone to get shot on the way to Dunkin Donuts, unarmed for parking tickets is insane. >>reporter: Hefeezah m uhammed says her live-in ex-boyfriend Kevin McCullers was shot by state constables in the driveway of their Whitehall Township home over 600 dollars of unpaid parking tickets. Police won't confirm the reason but they do say two constables were involved in a shooting, with one person being taken to the hospital. Whitehall Mayor Ed Hozza Jr.said the suspect tried to run over at least one of the constables, and at least one of them opened fire. State Constables are elected officials who serve 6 year terms and have the power to arrest. The no doubt unexpectd chaos started around 7:30.. as police say the constables were here to serve a warrant. What led to McCullers being shot is still unclear but neighbor Tammy Willliams says this isn't the first time constables have been to the home. >> tammy 1:58:19 Quite nerve wracking this had been going on for months because they've been coming here pounding on the door.All i ever heard was warrents. There's no word on the victim's condition. We'll have much more on this story at 5 and 6.
