Couple killed in house fire identified

MIDDLETOWN TWP., PA. - Officials say a fire in Bucks County left a husband and wife dead.

The fire was reported around 8:00 last night in Middletown Township at the couple's home at 365 Elmwood Avenue.

The fire marshal has identified the victims as Raymond Jenkins, 66, and Caroline Jenkins, 65.

We're told there were no working fire detectors inside the house.

The fire marshal says the fire started in the basement but it could be a few more weeks until a final cause is determined.
