BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A New Jersey company is moving a facility to Bethlehem, Pa., bringing with it 95 jobs, according to Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett.

Curtiss-Wright Corporation, with headquarters in Parsippany, N.J., will relocate a flow control facility and invest more than $7 million for infrastructure, equipment and employee training costs.

"Putting Pennsylvanians back to work continues to be a priority of my administration – our unemployment rate remains below the national average and businesses are moving here to grow and succeed," Corbett said. "Curtiss-Wright's move to the Lehigh Valley will add 95 jobs to the more than 760 they employ throughout Pennsylvania."

Curtiss-Wright, a global engineering and manufacturing company, will move its Engineered Pump Division (EPD) from its existing location in Phillipsburg, Warren Co., N.J. to Bethlehem, where it will construct a 179,000 square-foot facility.

"We are thrilled to be relocating our operations to the Lehigh Valley and look forward to supplying our mission-critical products and services from our new, modern manufacturing, testing, warehousing and office facility," Todd Schurra, general manager, EPD, said.

The Engineered Pump Division, a business unit of the Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Company, provides a wide range of highly engineered mission critical and general service pumps for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and related maritime customers.

According to a news release from Corbett's office, the company received a funding offer from the Department of Community and Economic Development, including a $200,000 Pennsylvania First Program grant and a $42,750 Guaranteed Free Training grant which will be used to train its new workforce.

A $2,375,000 loan from the Machinery and Equipment Loan Fund was also included.
