Dull sentenced after admitting to role in homicide

MANHEIM TWP., Pa. - One of the two men accused of tying another man to a tree and leaving him to die in Schuylkill County is heading to prison.

Daniel Dull pleaded guilty Tuesday to homicide and involuntary manslaughter for the death of 26-year-old Bryan Smith.

Dull and Keith Reber tied Smith to a tree in Manheim Township on a very hot day last year, and when they went to check on him, he was dead, officials said.

Reber was convicted of involuntary manslaughter last month.

Dull was sentenced to three to six years in jail after entering his plea Tuesday.
