Del Robynn Fenty, on trial for attempted homicide, pleads guilty

Fenty was accused of firing at officers during domestic dispute

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A man on trial for attempted homicide in Allentown has pleaded guilty.

Del Robyn Fenty was accused of assaulting his wife and firing shots at police officers in September 2012 when they responded to the domestic dispute.

Three officers suffered minor injuries.

Fenty then fled to New York where he was later captured in the Bronx and extradited to Pennsylvania.

Fenty's trial started on Monday, and on Tuesday he pleaded guilty to attempted homicide charges, as well as possessing a firearm. Several other charges were dropped.

Sentencing is scheduled for November 18.
