Early morning wreck in Allentown turns fatal

Fatal Allentown Accident

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - An accident early Sunday morning has taken the life of at least one person.

It happened just after 3 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Fourth Street in Allentown.

Police say two cars clipped each other, forcing one car to crash into a light pole.

Officials say the driver of that vehicle was ejected from the car on impact and was later pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

Two others were injured in the wreck but are said to be okay.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
