East Stroudsburg falls in NCAA Tournament

The East Stroudsburg baseball team saw its season come to an end on Saturday with a 7-5 loss to Millersville in the NCAA Div. II Tournament.

The fifth-seeded Warriors brought the tying run to the plate in the ninth inning, but couldn't complete the comeback against the top-seeded Marauders.

East Stroudsburg, which features a number of Lehigh Valley natives, ends its season at 34-18 overall.

The Warriors also won their first PSAC Championship since 1971, and earned a first-round NCAA Tournament playoff upset of Winston-Salem this postseason.
