Easton Police on hunt for robbers who hit Dunkin Donuts, Subway

Easton robberies

EASTON, Pa. - Easton police are investigating two armed robberies, and they're hoping surveillance footage from one of them will help identify a suspect.

A video from the Subway at 16 N. 3rd St., near Centre Square, shows a man robbing the clerk at gunpoint just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The robber is described as a black man wearing a black knit hat and a black jacket-- possibly with North Face on the front in white stitching.

The robber took an undetermined amount of cash, then ran out of the store and headed west on Church Street.

And, just before 7 p.m. Tuesday, police said an armed man held up the Dunkin Donuts at 1300 Northampton St.

Police said that robber was a Hispanic man wearing a black hood, red scarf, black pants and black boots.

The gun was partially wrapped in what appeared to be a plastic bag, police said, and an undetermined amount of cash was taken. The robber fled on foot, heading south on 13th Street.

Police don't believe the robberies are related.

Anyone with information regarding either of these incidents is encouraged to call Easton police, 610-759-2200, or the EPD tip line at 610-250-6635.
