Elden Woolf, of Mohrsville, charged in child sex abuse case

READING, Pa. - An 18-month investigation of child sex abuse allegations has led to the arrest of a Berks County man.

Elden Woolf surrendered Wednesday morning to detectives with the Berks County district attorney's office, who launched an investigation of Woolf in June 2011.

Woolf, 39, of Mohrsville, began having sex with a girl when she was approximately 12-years-old, said officials, who added that the assaults continued on a weekly basis for a period of three years.

Woolf was charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault, sexual assault, statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors, indecent exposure and indecent assault.
