Emmaus High School closed Thursday due to bomb threat

Bomb threat at Emmaus

EMMAUS, Pa. - Emmaus High School will be closed Thursday due to a bomb threat, a recorded message from the principal said.

The message says the threat was received late Wednesday afternoon. The building was evacuated and all after school activities were cancelled.

School was also cancelled for Thursday.

When students return on Friday, they will have their movements restricted, the principal's message said.

He said students will not be allowed to use the bathrooms during the time allotted for changing of classes. They will also be required to sign in and sign out of restrooms when using them during class time.

The principal is asking students to report any suspicious activity to the administration.

The school was also closed for a day in December due to a bomb threat.
