Famous Crabfries To Spice Things Up At Dorney This Summer

SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - Coasters and Crabfries will come together for the first time this summer.

Chickie's and Pete's will bring its famous Crabfries and other popular menu items to Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County.

The Philadelphia-based chain will open a pair of locations. The first will begin serving customers inside the park on Dorney's opening day, April 30; the second, smaller location will open in Wildwater Kingdom on May 28.

"We?ve had great success with corner bars, free-standing locations, ballparks, stadiums, airports, and casinos," said Pete Ciarrocchi, owner of Chickie's and Pete's. "Needless to say, I?m ecstatic to be opening at Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom and look forward to a fun, exciting, sunny and successful first summer together!?

The location in Dorney Park will be across from the Sea Dragon thrill ride. The Wildwater Kingdom location will be across from the original wave pool.

Chickie's and Pete's opened its first location in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia in 1977. The growing chain was recently voted the number one sports bar on the East Coast by ESPN.
