Fightin Phils split double-header in Richmond

The Reading Fightin Phils split a double-header with the Richmond Flying Squirrels in Virginia Saturday night.

Reading won game one 3-2, before falling 4-1 in game two.

In game one, Zach Collier went 3-for-3 with two triples, a double, and two RBIs for pace the Fightins offense.

Mauricio Robles (2-0, 1.74) picked up the win in relief, while Kyle Simon earned his fourth save of the year.

In game two, the Fightins went hitless with runners in scoring position.

Tom Cochran (0-1, 6.23) took his first loss in a Reading uniform.

The Fightins (8-7) will continue their series in Richmond on Sunday at 2:05pm.
